Rarity Symbols
Every Riftbound card has a small gem at the bottom center that shows its rarity.

Riftbound card rarities: Common (circle), Uncommon (triangle), Rare (square), Epic (pentagon), Alternate Art (hexagon), Promo (hexagon with promo stamp).
Some Alternate Art cards are also available as Signature versions, featuring a foil artist signature.
Ultimate Rarity is the rarest card rarity in Riftbound, appearing in fewer than 1 in 1,000 packs. Riftbound’s first Ultimate Rare is a unique overnumbered card of the new Baron Nashor.
Currently this shares the yellow hexagon symbol.
Champion cards are awarded to the winners of regional competitions.
Promo cards exist for different rarities.
Set Codes
Every Riftbound card has a set code printed on it that tells you which release the card came from.
OGN = Origins. Released October 2025. /298 main set cards.
OGS = Origins Starter (Proving Grounds). Released October 2025. /24 cards.
SFD = Spiritforged. Released February 2026. /221 main set cards.
Vendetta = Set code TBC. Expected 2026.
FND = Chinese-exclusive promo set distributed by Shining Soul, associated with early Chinese launch events. Cards are numbered out of 298. Confirmed cards include Teemo (FND-196/298), Yasuo (FND-259/298), and Viktor (FND-265/298). Full set name and total card count not yet confirmed. FND likely stands for Founders but this is unverified.
ARC = Arcane Box Set. Released 2025. Promotional product tied to the Arcane series. /6 cards.
Note: The /xxx number shows a card’s position in the main set. The full set total is higher because variant cards such as Alternate Art and Overnumbers are not included in this count.
Some Origins cards were distributed as promotional variants through special products including the Worlds Bundle 2025 and organised play events such as Nexus Nights and Summoner Skirmish. These carry standard OGN numbers and are not a separate set.
Chinese Market Release
Riftbound is published in China under the name Rune Battlegrounds. The Chinese-market release uses its own packaging and includes some China-exclusive promo cards not available in English releases, including the Shining Soul Lunar New Year Irelia promo distributed in early 2026. The FND set listed above is part of this Chinese-market release. If you have a card with an FND set code, it is a Chinese-exclusive promo card and not from the main English Origins set despite sharing the same card total of 298.

Token cards use a T prefix (for example T03) and are not counted in the set total.
Domain Icons
Every Riftbound card belongs to one or more Domains. The Domain icon appears on the card and on any Power Cost symbols.

Riftbound Domains: Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, Order
Card Number

Note: Some Overnumber cards are variants of cards from earlier sets. These still count as belonging to the original set, even if you pulled them from a later set’s packs.
Note: Card counts shown here reflect unique card numbers only. Foil variants share the same card number as their standard version and are not counted separately.
Riftbound card number formats: Standard / Original Numbered (004/221), Alternate Art (120a/221), Overnumber (224/221), Signature Overnumber (224*/221), Token (T03), Rune (R01).
Card Cost Symbols
For a full explanation of every Riftbound icon, see our Icons guide.

| Name | Meaning |
| Wild Power | Recycle any one domain rune as Power. |
| Energy cost | Pay this much Energy by exhausting any runes. |
In-Text Symbols

| Name | Meaning |
| Might | The Might symbol appears on unit cards and shows how powerful that unit is in combat. A higher Might number means the unit deals more damage and is harder to remove from a battlefield. You will see the Might symbol constantly while playing. It is one of the most important numbers on any unit card. |
| Exhaust | Cards, runes and legends exhaust, or turn sideways, to move or use exhaust abilities. They can’t exhaust again until readied. |
| Recycle | Put a card or rune from your board to the bottom of the appropriate deck to pay a Power cost. |
| Power Activation | Exhaust one rune of that specific domain to activate the ability. |
Reading the Effect Box

Assault 2 as a keyword means the unit gets +2 Might while attacking.

Level 3 means this unit gains the stated effect permanently while your Legend has 3 or more XP. No spending required. The ability is always active as long as you meet the threshold. For Mosstomper that is +1 Might and Deflect, meaning opponents must pay a Wild Power cost to target it with a spell or ability.
Hunt builds your XP. Level abilities unlock automatically once you have enough.
