Riftbound Domain Symbols: All Six Domains Explained

Domain Icons

Every Riftbound card belongs to one or more Domains. The Domain icon appears on the card and on any Power Cost symbols. If you are new to the game, seeing six unfamiliar symbols stacked next to each other can feel like a wall to climb before you have even picked a champion. It is not. Each Domain has a clear personality once you know what to look for, and most players find one that just feels right within their first few games.

Riftbound domain symbols — Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, and Order explained

Riftbound Domains: Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, Order

Fury (Red)

Fury represents aggression, passion and the thrill of conquering, the reckless, all in energy of a champion who wins by hitting first and hitting hardest. On the card, that shows up as damage based removal, keywords like Accelerate that let a unit act the moment it is played, and a willingness to discard cards from your own hand to pay for powerful effects. Fury decks tend to run out of gas if a game goes long, since card draw is not really their strength, but if you enjoy pressuring your opponent from turn one and rarely playing defense, this is the Domain built for you.

Calm (Green)

Calm represents balance, patience and the quiet strength of holding your ground. Where Fury wants to force the issue, Calm wants to sit back, read what the opponent is doing, and answer it. Cards here specialise in Reaction spells that counter enemy plays, move enemy units off a battlefield, or shore up your own units at exactly the right moment. It rewards players who like a bit of a mind game, waiting for the opponent to commit before punishing them, rather than charging in first.

Mind (Blue)

Mind represents intelligence, curiosity and thinking several turns ahead. It is built around the Hidden keyword, which lets you play a card face down and reveal it later for free, so an opponent never quite knows what you are setting up. Card draw and gear synergy round out the identity, since Mind wants to have more options in hand than anyone else at the table. What it gives up is efficient bodies on the battlefield, so a Mind deck usually wins through advantage and planning rather than raw combat strength.

Body (Orange)

Body represents physical power, agility and a connection to the wilds, the domain for players who want big, efficient units doing the talking. Ramp effects generate extra Runes ahead of schedule, buffs add Might to push units past what they should be able to survive, and Ready effects let a unit act again sooner than normal. Body decks tend to dominate straightforward combat but can struggle to draw extra cards or find room for spells, so the plan is usually simple, get strong units on the board and let them do the work.

Chaos (Purple)

Chaos represents unpredictability and a willingness to bend the game’s normal rules. It shares the Hidden keyword with Mind, but layers in discard effects that hit both players and the ability to pull cards back out of the trash for reuse. Nothing about a Chaos deck plays out the same way twice, which is exactly the appeal for players who enjoy making the game feel unfamiliar to their opponent, even a few turns in.

Order (Yellow)

Order represents organised aggression, an army of units and tokens moving forward together rather than one big threat. Sacrifice is central here, since trading a unit away often triggers its Deathknell ability for extra value, and Order decks lean on this loop again and again. It plays a longer game than Fury despite still being aggressive, often starting slower before its go wide plan takes over in the mid to late game.
